Startup World Cup is a global conference and competition that brings together the best startups, VCs, top entrepreneurs and world-class tech CEOs.

Startup World Cup is partnering with some of the world’s largest conferences and tech events to host 11 regional startup competitions for North & South America, Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa.

The applications from startup from all over the world are accepted. Shortlisted applicants will pitch in front of a huge crowd at one of our 11 regional events. The distinguished judges will select top 16 startups to compete for the grand prize in San Francisco on March 24th, 2017.

Pitching events

At each Regional Event, the top 10-12 pre-selected startups are invited to pitch in front of an expert jury and quality audience to determine the winner.

The event brings together key entrepreneurs, investors, corporates and institutions from the local ecosystem combined with a unique global Seedstars World flavour. The winner of each Regional Event gets a free trip to the Startup World Cup Conference in Silicon Valley and loads of cool tech prizes.

Startup World Cup Conference

The winner of each Regional Event will be invited to Silicon Valley to represent his/her startup and country at the Startup World Cup Conference.

It’s a week-long adventure consisting of a boot camp, startup battlefield, international conference and investor forum. It’s an amazing chance to meet with investors, build a global network and grow your business. And don’t forget there is USD 1 Million in equity investment on offer to the winning startups.

Startups from any sectors (but must be for profit) are eligible to join. Startups have to be formally registered entities and must have at least 1 full-time employee. At the time of application, companies must have a functional prototype, and cannot be at the idea stage.

Grand Finale Round

The grand finale round will be live in Silicon Valley, March 24, 2017

Each Finalist (Regional Winners) must be present in person at the Grand Finale Round and prepare a presentation and demo of the Business Proposition. There will be a special panel of judges selected for the final round and the audience.

The Finalist with the most Event Judge votes will be selected as Startup World Cup Grand Prize Winner. Finalists must be present at the Grand Finale Round to be eligible to win the grand prize.
