FindFace – Russia

Founder: Maxim Perlin
Year founded: 2016
Website: www.findface.ru
Corporate email: info@findface.ru

FindFace is a service that can search for VK.com accounts on the base of a portrait photo of a person. 30 search attempts are free, then you’ll have to pay.

FindFace is ostensibly meant to help people make friends. The logic is that if you have a photo of someone, you can find their social media profiles, and learn more about them before trying to become friendly with them; it’s a business model based on a second degree Facebook stalking, which is definitely not creepy at all.
