In partnership with Sequoia Capital, Business Today’s Start @ a Startup Conference connects the brightest college students with startups from across the world for a weekend of educational and recruiting events. The Start @ a Startup Conference, now in its fourth iteration, will take place in New York City on October 10-11th.

The conference consists of multiple elements:

  • Conversation Groups: A startup leader and 10-12 students converse in a setting that encourages lively group discussion and idea sharing.
  • Keynotes: Startup leaders give keynote addresses on the most important and relevant topics of the industry.
  • Networking: Attendees meet the top students and start up leaders in the country.

The Business Today magazine was founded in 1968 by three Princeton undergraduates. As 501(c)3 student-run non-profit, Business Today creates a meaningful dialogue between student and business leaders from across the globe while prioritizing equal access and opportunity. After 46 years, over 100 magazines, and more than 50 conferences, Business Today continues to be at the forefront of student-executive engagement.

Business Today Start @ a Startup Conference: FAQ

How much does the conference cost?

It’s free! All hotel, food, and miscellaneous costs are completely covered, and we reimburse travel expenses up to $100 per student.

Am I eligible to apply?

The application is open to all undergraduate students with an interest in startups. A background in engineering, computer science, or business development is recommended.

When should I apply?

Apply now! The final application deadline is September 11, 2015.

 When will I receive a decision regarding my application?

All application decisions will be sent out around September 21st. Please check your spam folder to ensure that you do not miss an email from our team.
