AUDI international trainee programme

Deep insight into structures and processes – if you want to get to know multiple areas of a company during the first year of your career, then the Audi international trainee programme is just what you’re looking for. The international trainee programme at AUDI AG is a 12-month qualification programme for university graduates. As a trainee you will acquire a comprehensive overview of the structures and processes in the company.

AUDI AG

With the Audi and Lamborghini brands, the Audi Group has long been one of the most successful car manufacturers in the premium and supercar segment. Since 2012, motorbikes from the traditional Italian brand Ducati have supplemented the range. Furthermore, the Audi Group also supplies other Volkswagen Group brands to customers via sales companies.

In the trainee programme you begin with broad-based development. You are given the opportunity to develop a network and get to know the company as a whole. Your in-depth knowledge of the specialized area is developed following the trainee programme as you assume on-the-job responsibilities. With direct appointment, the process is reversed: you begin by developing your in-depth, specialized knowledge, then broaden your base. Consequently, these ways of joining the company differ but should be viewed as of equal value, and they will not have varying impact on your career opportunities.

As a trainee you will get to know the key interfaces within and outside AUDI AG through various projects. During the 12-month programme you will work independently on three to four projects in various divisions.

One of these projects is in your target department and a second is at one of the Volkswagen Group’s non-German sites. The individual modules of the programme are selected specifically to match your qualifications and the requirements of your target department. The programme also includes time to be spent in Production and at dealerships, where you will have direct contact with Audi’s products and customers.

You will be supervised by your personal mentor from Audi management throughout the entire programme. You will prepare a personalized schedule for your programme together with your mentor and the trainee support team. Both will be available to you as points of contact at all times. Once you have completed the programme you will have an excellent network within the company, which you can put to use in your later work. The international trainee programme is open to graduates of any subject, but they are particularly looking for graduates of technical degree programmes.

You should also note the following requirements for your application:
