Passionate about Finance?  Then ModelOff 2015 is just for you!

ModelOff Financial Modeling World Championship is one of the most challenging and exciting competitions which attracts over 4,000 field practitioners and students from all over the world each year. The participants test their financial modeling skills and knowledge in different quantitative disciplines which include Financial Analysis, Banking, Insurance, Actuarial, Engineering, Consulting, Accounting, Microsoft Excel and other finance-related practices. Students and professionals answer to the exact same questions.

The competition is made up of three consecutive rounds. The organizers and sponsors of this outstanding event make every effort to make it available for “anyone, anywhere”. This is the main reason why Round 1 and 2 are held online. They will be happening simultaneously around the world and include outstanding real-life financial case studies on a number of topics such as discount cash flow modeling, innovative problem solving in Microsoft Excel and other financial competitions. These two rounds will decide who the top 16 contestants are and will fly those contestants to London, UK to fight in the World Finals. In this conclusive round, the world’s masters of finance will compete in front of highly qualified world judges to win the rewarding title of the “World’s Brightest Financial Mind”.

This year the competition is exceptional because the organizers have introduced a Private League for those willing to compete within their company or university, and the contest celebrates 30 years since the creation of Excel.
