Latitude59 2020

Latitude59 is the flagship startup and tech event of the world’s first digital society.

Startup conferences are about speeches, pitches and wooing investors. The big ones, they’re the cruise ships of seafaring. Latitude59 is a lovely yacht without the crowds.

Only people who really matter

Latitude59 is small by design. The attendees enjoy the cosy festival vibe. But there’s more to it. Entrepreneurship and digital technology aren’t limited to startups. They matter in society and governance.

Latitude59 offers various networking opportunities, in-depth discussions with top international players, several pitching rounds for both startups as well as investors, and a startup demo area with 60 most relevant startups from the Baltics and CEE.

Latitude59 is intimate and cosy by design and with the focus of bringing together regional startups and markets, and international investors and possible business partners in a setting encouraging meaningful conversations.

Themes

You’ll take a closer look at some of the solutions out there, covering topics from cybercrime and ecological responsibility to the influence the society and tech have on data, information sharing and the media. You’ll also be digging deeper on the topics of vocational education and government innovation process and gov-tech challenges.

For the founders, this year’s stage programme includes both inspiration as well as practical takes on different entrepreneurial challenges. Latitude59 is also hosting reverse Pitching where investors and funds will be pitching to startups, Best of the Baltics session introducing the hottest startups of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, and Latitude59 pitch competition for early-stage startups.

Latitude59 is in Estonia, the world’s pioneering digital country. Come and see for yourself!

Estonia is home to the world’s first e-Residency program offering a transnational secure digital identity enabling you to run a location independent business online from anywhere in the world.

Latitude59 2020 takes place at the Kultuurikatel – a century-old power plant transformed into a one-of-the-kind creative hub. With nearly 2500 attendees, including 275 investors and more than 350 startups, the tech gathering brings together key players who are serious about startups, investing, and the future of smart governance.

The event warmly welcomes startup founders from around the world to come and be a part of one of the smallest but liveliest startup communities in Europe.
