Eligibility: Anyone aged 18 and older

TED (Technology, Entertainment and Design) is a non-profit organization with an objective to provide powerful short talks on all kinds of issues related to business, science, global problems and much more.

The talks are held in more than 100 languages. This impressive project contributes to sharing of ideas, thoughts everywhere in the world because TED believes that shared ideas can “change attitudes, lives and, ultimately, the world”.

So this amazing organization runs TED fellowship program twice a year, to discover new innovative thinkers and doers who would contribute to spreading ideas throughout the world. The program ideally looks for “doers, makers, inventors, advocates, filmmakers and photographers, musicians and artists, scientists, entrepreneurs, NGO heads, and human rights activists”.

The program staff selects the TED fellows on the base of extensive reference checking and on the consultation of experts across the field. The selection of fellows is organized by assessing the applicants’ on the base of their accomplishments in their respective fields, the potential impact of their work and also, most importantly, their character.  The selection committee chooses 20 Fellows who will be awarded the opportunity of attending each TED Conference.

The application procedure is held online. In order to apply, you need to provide some basic information about yourself, your contact details, your background, education and interests, answer some essay questions and provide three references. Please follow this link to apply online.
