Google Code Jam is back in 2016!

For the 13th year in a row, Google Code Jam is calling all programmers to put their skills to the test in multiple online rounds of intense, algorithmic puzzles.

Every year, after the organisation opens the registrations all the eligible participants should apply for Google Code Jam. And for the second time, they are looking for those who want to code in a distributed environment, too. Distributed Code Jam is back and better than ever, with an additional online round and larger grand prize.

Google Code Jam Competition 2016 Overview

The Google Code Jam was initiated in 2003, it is the world-wide competitive examination organised by Google.

The main task of this exam is to recognise the most desirable and talented employees to work at Google.  Generally, this examination comprises into set of algorithms, which candidate can solve it under a limit amount of time.

These algorithmic problems can be solved by using any programming languages to acquire the answers. This exam is conducted as an annual program by Google. Previously, more than 50,000 candidates have took the Jam examination, for qualified candidates the google offers many awards and price money.  This is the challenging examination for professional engineering students around the world.

Google doesn’t have any age limit, all candidates with above 18 years are applicable to apply for Jam exam. Participants must have access WiFi or internet and have knowledge to communicate in English language, and have a valid email id.

About Google Code Jam Competition 2016

Eligibility

1.1. The Contest is void in Crimea, Cuba, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, Quebec, and where prohibited by law.

1.2. You do not need to purchase any Google product or service to enter or win the Contest.

1.3. Ineligible Individuals:

(A) You cannot participate in the Contest if you are, and will be immediately disqualified and forfeit all of your prizes if you become:

(B) However, Section 1.3(A)(3) above does not apply if you are a Google Student Ambassador (whether paid or not) and you may participate in the Contest.
(C) If you gained information on a problem while working as an employee, intern, contractor, or official office-holder of Google,

Application

1. Registration. To enter the Contest, you must register at the Contest website and provide the required information about yourself.

(A) Registration times are listed on the Contest website. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR DETERMINING THE CORRESPONDING TIME IN YOUR TIME ZONE.
(B) You must register for each Contest before you can participate in that Contest. For example, if you registered for Code Jam and wanted to participate in Google Code Jam to I/O for Women, you would still need to register for the Google Code Jam to I/O for Women Contest.
(C) You may only register for the Contest with one valid email address. If you compete in the same Contest with multiple email addresses, you will be disqualified.

2. Screen Names. Google reserves the right to change or omit contestant screen names or nicknames for purposes of publication on Google websites or listserv, particularly if they are, in Google’s sole opinion, obscene or violate the intellectual property rights of others.
