AIG Full-time Analyst Program 2016

Working alongside and under the mentorship of an experienced Field Engineering Manager and Field Engineers, Loss Prevention Associates (LPAs) are Risk Engineers who conduct comprehensive, on-site risks surveys and analyze exposure to provide recommendations to mitigate risk.

Risk Engineers serve as the firm’s fire protection and engineering subject matter experts and have the opportunity to present at broader Commercial Property Casualty engineering reviews. LPAs will grow to conduct surveys and assess risk in multiple areas of Commercial Property to include warehousing, manufacturing and energy production facilities.

The unique exposure of a Risk Engineer provides many career path opportunities. Engineers who become Loss Prevention Associates at AIG look forward to successful careers with career path choices including roles in Risk Engineering, Regional Engineering Management, Account Engineering, and Property Underwriting.

Program Description

Joining AIG’s Full-Time Analyst Program is a great way to utilize your engineering expertise, enhance business acumen and gain insight into the insurance industry. Analysts will work within a business or function and will gain broad exposure to their particular areas of interest.

The program is an exclusive and competitive track for graduates from all degrees and disciplines. Analysts will be exposed to the company’s global nature almost immediately; at the start of the program, all global participants will convene for orientation and training.

Full-time programs exist in several functional areas, including: Actuarial, Claims, Finance, Human Resources, Internal Audit, Investments, Legal and Compliance, Operations and Systems, Property Loss Prevention, Risk Management, Sales and Marketing, Science, and Underwriting.

In addition to the experience acquired on the job, Analysts will participate in global training that will help them learn and become accustomed to and integrate into the culture of AIG. Furthermore, Analysts will receive detailed performance feedback and will experience invaluable networking opportunities with both junior- and senior-level AIG employees across multiple divisions. Considerable emphasis will also be placed on training and development to help build both soft and technical business skills.

Rules

A shortlist of finalists will be chosen from Sqore challenge results, with the winner(s) being chosen for an interview with AIG.

Eligibility

  • Must have at least a bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Language requirement may be needed based on the position location
  • All users must provide submissions that the user has created him/herself and an image they have taken themselves
  • All users must provide personal information that is truthful and accurate.

Application

To take part in the AIG’s Full-Time Analyst Program, follow the application link and create a profile.

First you will be asked to take the AIG Challenge which consists of 10 questions with time limit of 20 minutes. After that, you will be asked to take the AIG Engineering Challenge, which consists out of 15 questions with 9 minutes and 35 secs Time limit. Then you will have the AIG Case Challenge – to write an essay of 500 words with no time limit. And at last you will need to create the profile form.

  • Questions are all multiple choice with one correct answer only
  • Each question has its own time limit
  • When the time us up, you will automatically be forward to the next question
  • You can only take this quiz once.
