BlackSmith Liberty & Entrepreneurship Camp is a summer school designed by entrepreneurs for future entrepreneurs. For four full and intensive days, participants will learn the essentials of entrepreneurship, work on business ideas, connect with people from all over the world who share the same passion for business, get feedback for their ideas, and meet potential investors.

The summer school takes places on August 6-10 in Trakai, Lithuania. Tuition, accommodation and food expenses are covered by the organizers.

The lectures of the summer school are focused on:

  • how to spot business opportunities;
  • how to build an entire business around an idea and how to improve the idea;
  • how to buy cheaply and turn around profit businesses that are failing;
  • how to find investors and raise capital;
  • what are and how to use the words that sell;
  • what is the main reason why businesses fail;
  • what are the markets to look at in the near future and how to take advantage;
  • what personal skills you should have or develop;
  • the difference between working on vs. in your business;
  • how to avoid conventional thinking and why that is important;
  • how to understand numbers and analyse various investment deals;
  • what are the financial markets and how to understand the global economy;
  • how governments influence or affect your business and how to turn that in your advantage;
  • how to grow online businesses;
  • and last but not least, why money is important but not the most important thing and how to live how you want.

Beside this, the summer school will provide participants with yoga sessions, sports activities, parties, fitness, sunbathing by the lake and many others.

The applications will close on the 31st of March.

The camp was an incredible experience for me. Never before have I met so many like-minded and motivated people. It was more than one of those typical ‘YEAAAAH you can do it seminars.’ I learned real tools and steps of how to research an idea and present it to investors. I know what to do now. I am going to do it. I have the confidence I will succeed with the knowledge I got.

But even more important was the shift in my mind I experienced. I am thinking bigger and I see more opportunities now. It is possible for me to start BIG ideas and I know the steps how to go through with them.

Coming to this camp was one of the best decisions in my life so far.
