The largest young founders conference in the Netherlands is opening its doors again for its seventh edition in Maastricht from May 6th till 8th. An initiative from the Maastricht Centre for Entrepreneurship, the Maastricht Entrepreneurship Week (MeWeek) unites seasoned entrepreneurs who share the lessons they learned along their journey with students and professionals planning to dive into the startup world.
Under the motto “Be The Boom”, the event’s mission is to create an interdisciplinary hub that empowers individuals from all fields and backgrounds to become conscious catalysts and mobilisers of positive change in the world as entrepreneurs. The programme will feature talks, workshops, panel discussions and a pitch competition of innovative startups from all over Europe in the race to win investors’ attention and the first prize for the most feasible business plan.
The Maastricht Entrepreneurship Week 2015 kicks off on May 6th and invites all participants to the official opening and registration, followed by an opening speech Illac Diaz, founder of Liter of Light at the School of Business and Economics of Maastricht University in cooperation with the Ambassador Lecture Series.
The list of speakers and workshops features successful serial entrepreneurs, coaches and innovators from all over Europe who discuss topics ranging from creative empowerment over startup financing to virtual reality.
This conference aims to inspire young entrepreneurs and to connect young talents to work together, create valuable ventures and be the next “BOOM”! Workshops focus on skills building, while evening talks and networking drinks allow participants to share ideas and expand their network.
