McGill Management International Case Competition 2016 is an outstanding event organized by McGill University which enjoys the title of the “most prestigious events and the largest student-run event” at the Desautels Faculty of Management. This is a world-class undergraduate Case Competition with focal points of Globalization, Innovation and Multi-Disciplinary thinking.
MMICC is considered to be the “the world’s friendliest case competition” aiming to maintain a cozy atmosphere during the competition in the meantime offering the chance to take advantage of one of North America’s most energetic cities.
The organizers strive to maintain the balance between the social and the competing part of the event. This is the main reason why the 3 days of the event will be focused on the social exchange with unforgettable social and networking activities while the next 3 days will be held as world-class case competition.
The competition part of the event is organized in quite a unique way. It’s a multi-disciplinary competition covering any of these topics: finance, accounting, marketing, human resources, entrepreneurship, strategy, international business and policy. All participating teams will have 32 hours to deal with an interesting business scenario, to identify the key priorities of the case, to do an assessment of benefits and costs and ultimately to outline a strategic plan which would be presented to the attention of a corporate judging panel.
