Whether you are a professional or an amateur photographer, the Photography 4 Humanity Global Prize competition is waiting for your application.

Created by Right Here, Right Now, Photography 4 Humanity is an international initiative calling on photographers to bring to life the power of human rights through their images.

The 2024 Global Contest is looking for images showing people impacted by the escalating climate crisis. The competition welcomes images of climate champions advocating for change, climate refugees, the very young, the very old, the disabled and injured, the poor, indigenous and island people, and women.

Eligibility and rules for applying for Photography 4 Humanity

Photography 4 Humanity is open to both professional and amateur photographers, who are at least 18 years old.

All submitted applications must meet the following criteria:

the images must be taken between August 1, 2023, and August 1, 2024
include the photographer’s name, title, date, location, and description of each photograph
photography must relate to climate justice issues, such as climate refugees, the disabled and injured, the poor, indigenous and island people, as well as pictures of climate champions advocating for change, and those helping to mitigate and reverse climate change
each application can submit up to five photographs
