Eligibility: You may apply as an individual or in a team; a company is no more than 24 months old as of January 1, 2018, its cumulative revenue has not exceeded $100,000 as of January 1, 2018; teams must disclose any funding already received at the time of registration; teams must not have accepted any institutional funding for the idea being presented (i.e. the team cannot have sold equity to anyone outside the team – including non-managing founders)

Startup Challenge 2019
Startup Challenge brings together the brightest minds from across Gainesville, Jacksonville, and more to collaborate and compete for bragging rights as North Florida’s best startup.
- 4 months of competition (November 1 – February 19)
- 2 competitive tracks (student and non-student)
- 1 grand prize ($10,000)
On February 19th, you’ll pitch in front of a panel of esteemed judges with over 50 years of entrepreneurial experience. These judges will provide feedback on your pitch, advice for your business, and ultimately choose the winner of the $10,000 grand prize.
How the competition works
This isn’t your ordinary pitch competition. For two months, you’ll receive mentorship from some of Florida’s top entrepreneurs to refine your business plan and practice your pitch in preparation for the challenge finale.
At the finale, you and other driven entrepreneurs will compete for the $10,000 cash prize and the opportunity to receive follow-on investment from industry leaders.
