Are you looking to close equity gaps in wealth, education, and accessibility? Do you have a developing product or venture contributing to one or more of the UN’s 17 SDGs? If yes, and you are looking to scale up, the EquityTech Fellowship 2024 is looking for you.

The Fellowship is a prestigious program empowering entrepreneurs to harness the power of technology for social good. It focuses on EquityTech ventures operating in sectors such as FinTech, Future of Work, Assistive Tech, and EdTech. You’re the perfect fit if your venture aims to increase social and financial inclusion while closing equity gaps.

Halcyon runs this fellowship with support from Capital One, Deloitte, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Arnold & Porter. It consists of one virtual program kickoff meeting and an eight-week in-person residency in Washington, DC. 

Eligibility and the selection criteria for the EquityTech Fellowship 2024

This Fellowship is open to applicants from all around the world who are fluent in English and are at least 21 years of age. Moreover, they need to be able to fully commit to all activities and programming sessions. 

Qualifying ventures must be for-profit EquityTech with a Minimum Viable Product and a clear alignment with one or more of the UN’s 17 SDGs.

In addition to eligibility, Halcyon scores each application based on four criteria:

  • Impact: To what extent will the solution, have a meaningful impact on society and/or the environment?
  • Scalability: Could this venture scale to reach many users in a 5-10-year time horizon?
  • Innovation: Is the solution a novel approach to tackling the issue in their context?
  • Talent: Is the team uniquely qualified to tackle the challenges they face?

Benefits for Fellows

Selected fellows will join a cohort for an intensive program designed to supercharge their growth. The program includes:
