MBA Scholarship Program for Creative Leaders

The scholarship is open to accomplished senior creative industry executives who work in creative industries including advertising, branding, marketing or related fields with a strong professional background and track record of creative and/or business excellence. Applicants have to either already be playing a leading role within their companies or soon be taking on leadership responsibilities. Other prerequisites include a strong professional background and, if working in a creative capacity, a track record of creative excellence. Candidates should preferably have already earned a Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent, although in some cases you might still qualify for the MBA degree program even if you don’t hold a BA.

The scholarship winner will receive €20,000 in tuition support, which will be applied towards the tuition costs of the Berlin School Executive MBA in Creative Leadership program. Up to three additional finalists may be eligible to receive up to €10,000 in tuition support.

The Berlin Business School

A Business School Bridging the Gap Between Leadership Research and Industry Challenges

By challenging convention, the Berlin School has set out to educate and inspire a new breed of thinkers and leaders in creative enterprises.”
Michael Conrad
Berlin School President

Theories can help you grasp principles you need to lead, but realities in the world of business make implementing that knowledge a very tall order indeed. Because of the breakneck pace of change that’s now common in practically every creative industry, simply staying on top of the most recent developments can be a huge challenge. And to achieve real success, you have to do more than just keep up. You have to pioneer and innovate, and inspire your team to do the same. We help you bridge the gap between research and the edge of the envelope in your creative field, with faculty made up of top experts from academia and frontline executives – each a member in their unique and expanding global network of creative leaders.

The school’s faculty is made up of leading academics, industry experts and specialized trainers. With their help and guidance, participants acquire the tools they need to lead, learning how to shoulder more responsibility and become effective, creative leaders at their companies. Just as important for degree candidates is the peer learning that takes place during modules. Each class brings together a multidisciplinary group of experienced leaders from the creative industries, and their collaboration intensifies the challenging and rewarding learning experience. It also brings a further big advantage: By the time they finish our program, graduates are linked into a network of fellow professionals that spans the globe.

Application

You can apply for a scholarship at the Berlin School’s online application portal. There is no fee to apply. You will need to submit:

  1. Create an account by using the sign up area
  2. Complete all required sections of the online form including a response to this additional Contagious scholarship essay question:
What emerging technology or trend do you think will have the biggest impact on advertising and marketing over the next five years?
  3. Submit your application

Entries are judged on an applicant’s overall profile, as well as the information provided in the EMBA application. Candidates additionally answer a Contagious scholarship essay question, and that response also plays a role in selection.

The scholarship winner will receive €20,000 in tuition support for the Berlin School Executive MBA in Creative Leadership program starting September 2016 in Berlin. Up to three additional finalists may be eligible to receive up to €10,000 in tuition support.
