Create a new store: Have a great business idea that you’ve always wanted to explore? Here’s your chance! Launch an online store with Shopify to enter the competition.
Compete to sell the most: Next, it’s time to get selling. After the eight-month competition, we’ll calculate your sales. Sell the most during the competition, and receive our grand prize.
Get mentorship: You could earn the opportunity to seek advice and guidance from our all-star entrepreneurs while we send you on the trip of a lifetime.
Eligibility: Shopify Build-A-Business VI Competition (“Competition”) is open to legal residents of any 1 of the United States (excluding Arizona, Maryland, Vermont, Delaware, Louisiana and Montana), the District of Columbia, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, Spain and Canada (collectively, “Territory”) who are over the age of maturity in their country, province or state of residence. Employees of Sponsors, its divisions, affiliates, subsidiaries or advertising agencies associated with this Competition, and relatives of and those living in the same household as such individuals are prohibited from entering.
How to Enter: Eligible entrants may participate in the Competition by completing the following steps:
- Creating a new business account on Shopify or Shopify Build a Business at any time during the New Business Period.
- agreeing to enter the Competition on the Competition entry page located at Shopify (“Entry Page”) between October 1, 2015 at 12:01 A.M. North American Eastern Time/6:01 A.M. Central European Time and May 31, 2016 at 11:59 P.M. North American Eastern Time/5:59 A.M. Central European Time. The holders of all eligible accounts opened on shopify.com during the New Business Period may enter the Competition by inputting their store information into the Existing Customer entry form on the Entry Page; and
- operating that business on Shopify.com for a minimum of sixty (60) consecutive days during the Competition Period (defined below) and continuing to operating that business on Shopify.com through prize awarding.
