YouthLegend is organizing a 10-day long “International Youth Camp” in Nepal, bringing together 30 young people from different parts of the world. The goal of the event is to help young people discover themselves, as well as give them valuable opportunities to network. Participants will benefit by developing a greater understanding of the world, foster cross cultural understanding and empathy, develop a network of people with diverse backgrounds, and ultimately gain friendships while enjoying the best of Nepal.
As this is the first time such a an International Camp is being organized in Nepal, YouthLegend is on the lookout for the most driven, young and ambitious people who are willing to explore heart of Nepal while gaining new contacts. The CEO of YouthLegend, Sudha Subedi says, “Our country has always been known for its beauty. Through this camp, we want to give the message to the world that we also have wonderful knowledge and insights to offer to the world. I believe that Nepal can be a wonderful hub for youth around the world, where they can learn, collaborate and network.”
The youth camp will take 10 days and will include activities and workshops related to leadership development, self-understanding, team building, dance movement therapy, Alternative to Violence workshop and many others. The camp will take place between 9th of October and 18th of October, 2015, while the total cost to attend is $700 per person. The program will be conducted in Kathmandu and Pokhara city of Nepal.
