Are you ready to bring your knowledge from the classroom to the boardroom? Citi wants to help you get there. This unique experience offers plenty of scopes to develop your skills and gain valuable experience in a large and complex global organisation.

During your 12 months, you will have the opportunity to rotate across 4 different business areas within Citi’s Institutional Clients Group (ICG) spending your first 6 months in London office followed by 6 months in Stockholm office, gaining a real understanding of how the business operates across EMEA.

ICG do so by providing strategic, financing and operational insights and executing tailored product/service solutions, both across our borders and domestically.

The ICG responds to clients’ changing needs through its long-established relationship coverage approach that provides client solutions utilising all of Citi’s relevant capabilities, including the broadest possible access to financial markets globally. No other institution can match our combination of global insights, client relationship management services, geographic reach and local and cross-border product expertise.

During your 12 months, you will spend time in Capital Markets Origination, Corporate Banking, Investment Banking and in our Markets and Securities Services teams.

In addition to the support you will receive from your line manager, you will also be assigned two senior mentors to support you throughout your time as the Stockholm School of Economics Female Economist of the Year.

Eligibility

  • A master student at the Stockholm School of Economics and have graduated in 2016 or are graduating in 2017
  • Have a strong academic record
  • Are fluent in English and a Nordic Language
  • Have a genuine desire for constant challenge and interest in the financial markets
  • You are a natural communicator who builds strong relationships and demonstrates strong interpersonal skills
  • Have high levels of drive, initiative and adaptability

Who will be a great fit

  • Analytical – Assimilating new information quickly and relating it to the needs of the client base
  • Organisational – Managing demands from several sources, working to deadlines and managing offsite analyst timetables
  • Verbal and Written Communication – Attention to detail and clarity
