Participants will also get to hear personal stories from founders and learn from their experiences and success stories.

IdeaLab: WHU Founders’ Conference 2015

With around 300 international participants every year, the young founders’ event brings together experienced founders, venture capitalists, investors as well as ambitious students for networking and interactive exchange of ideas and experiences.

This year’s keynote speakers include Kevin Hale (Partner at Y Combinator), Robert Gentz, David Schneider, Rubin Ritter (Founders of Zalando), Evgeny Tchebotarev (Co-Founder and CTO at 500px), Rene Reinsberg (Vice President at GoDaddy) and many others.

IdeaLab! focuses on internet, e-commerce, and mobile application startups as well as new technologies, and it is a great place for students to make connections for post-graduation jobs. Especially topics such as internet innovation, e-commerce and mobile applications are the core elements the IdeaLab! focuses on. At the same time, the conference emphasizes the personal temper of entrepreneurship and launching of companies.

What are key factors for a successful entrepreneur, and how can I learn from them?

Renowned keynote speakers of the previous years include but are not limited to Xing-founder Lars Hinrichs, Alexander Ljung of Soundcloud, Instagram’s co-establisher Gregor Hochmuth, as well as Accel’s Max Niederhofer or Oliver Samwer, founder and CEO of the European Founders Fund.

The founders’ conference takes place annually on the campus of WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in Vallendar, Germany (near the city of Koblenz).

Interested? Apply until October 8, 2015. Travel subsidies are available for participants coming outside Germany.
