Eligibility: open to teams of a maximum of four full-time undergraduate or graduate students studying supply chain management, business, finance or a relevant field, with an interest in supply chain management.

ISM Global Case Competition 2023
The ISM Global Case Competition gives students an opportunity to gain real-world case-solving experience within supply management while also applying their knowledge and diverse perspectives to a solution.
The program is an incredible opportunity to engage with supply management professionals at the ISM World Annual Conference.
Address an industry challenge in supply management
Teams with a maximum of four students from universities across the globe will have the opportunity to develop analytical and reasoning skills in a professional setting, much like they will face in the business world.
- The Case Round
All student teams after the interest round will be asked to address the case in a presentation deck and a 10-minute summary video. A team of ISM subject matter experts and supply chain executives will review each submission to select the four finalist teams to present at ISM World 2023.
- Finalist Round
4 finalist teams will be invited to attend the ISM World 2023 conference in person. If travel becomes an issue, hybrid virtual access will be provided. If teams are unable to travel to the conference, teams will record up to 20-minute full case presentations with the ISM production team prior to the conference.
Prizes
The top 3 teams will be awarded financial awards:
- 1st Place – $5,000
- 2nd Place – $3,000
- 3rd Place – $2,000
In addition to the monetary prize, the top team will receive a 1:1 coaching/mentorship session with an executive, as well as complimentary access to the CPSM® digital learning system to prepare for a CPSM® certification for all of the top three teams.
ISM will financially sponsor conference registration fees for students who are selected to participate in the final round of the case competition onsite.
