The reform of the criminal proceeding: is it a real restyling?

The idea of the conference is to discuss how young attorneys can make a contribution to building the future criminal law and criminal proceedings.

That is why it is crucial to deepen some aspects of the actual criminal system with experts from all over Italy.

Conference overview

The conference will start by offering a general view of the actual Italian criminal proceeding and then it will focus on the news of the reform adopted on the 14 of June.

Each speech will look into a specific aspect of the reform in order to encourage a debate between experts and students on the pros and cons of the new law.

The speakers

Some of the most important Italian experts in criminal law and criminal proceedings will join the conference: not only University professors but also practitioners of the field such as lawyers and judges.

The choice of the speakers has the intention to mix both theoretical and practical contributions to the daily dialogue.
