The American University in Bulgaria (AUBG) scholarship eligibility

AUBG is looking for the best and brightest.

The admissions procedures are designed to help them select from a qualified pool of students and be able to answer all their questions. The following information will assist you in preparing your application documents.

Every eligible applicant is automatically reviewed for any scholarship. Scholarships based on academic merit are awarded based on the strength of the applicant’s high school performance and English language proficiency test scores.

Only applicants who have submitted complete Applications for Financial Assistance are eligible to receive any scholarship awarded (in full or in part) on the basis of financial need.  The Application for Financial Assistance is available on the How To Apply page.

The American University in Bulgaria follows a rolling admission notification plan, and the Admissions Committee notifies students in a timely fashion. Since the Admissions Committee’s decision is considered confidential, an official letter is sent to the student at the mailing address stated in the application form, within four weeks after all required documents are received at the AUBG Admissions Office.
