Volvo Learning Delivery Specialist Internship 2018

Energy, creativity and the will to share your experiences with a team are essential to a successful internship. This unique internship opportunity will run for 2-6 months.

Internship position – Learning Delivery Specialist

Entity/Organization: Volvo Group University is the corporate university of Volvo Group and is the center for learning and competence development that is easily accessible to all of our employees. This internship position is located in Gothenburg, Sweden.

What they do: They offer training in a wide range of topics, of which some are fundamental to all employees and some are specific for an area or role. Different formats are used to ensure the best learning experience – on-line, on-the-floor, on-stage and in-the-classroom training. Our training portfolio is well grounded in future business needs and designed to prepare you for what’s around the corner.

Volvo continuously evaluates and develop our training portfolios to make sure that we, as an organization, are always equipped to meet the future demands of our customers.

What will you do: You will be a part of the Training Delivery team and work with the team to understand day-to-day interactions with employees and propose options on new ways of engagement.

You will work on Training Needs Analysis process documentation in relation to Employee Life Cycle and Participate in the Trainer and Learning Days project such as developing promotional material for the events. In this position you also need to investigate the country/site specific needs in the above areas.

Internship length and start date: 3-4 months
Preferred Internship Period Jan/Feb – April/May 2018

What do you need to have

  • This specific internship position is open to all students except Sweden since this is an international program
  • Students in the US, Japan and France: You are in your 3rd or 4th year of a Bachelor degree or 1st year of a Master degree in your university career
  • Strong grade point average
  • Proficiency in English
  • Strong in analytical thinking and problem solving
  • Engaged and open personality, involvement in community work and/or student networks
  • Team player with passion for new experiences
  • Interest in the Volvo Group and in sharing internship experience with fellow students
  • Valid passport
  • Demonstrate the Volvo group values – customer success, passion, performance, change, and trust
