BMW Global Leader Development Program
German premium car-maker rolled out its BMW Global Leader Development Program – an exciting career opportunity for young professionals and recent graduates with the potential to become global leaders. The program takes on people with a variety of backgrounds ranging from finance and IT all the way to engineering and production.
The GLD Program takes a total of 18 months to complete, where participants are get an insight into various divisions by rotating for the first months in their primary location. Following the local rotation, the program continues at BMW’s headquarters in Munich. Consequently, participants continue to work for another 5 months at their respective location, only to move back to Munich for the last 3 months of the program.
Aside from working for one of the most innovative companies in the car manufacturing industry, (and possibly getting to your own BMW at a discount), participants at the prestigious program benefit from:
- Networking e.g. at cross-divisional events and socials
- Courses as part of the BMW Group Training Academy
- Being involved in joint team projects
On top of the above, trainees will get exposed to a production department, as well as 2 weeks in a company subsidiary and another week in a customer-service department. This will help you get exposed to a wide range of divisions and ultimately benefit you
