Erasmus for Entrepreneurs Exchange Program 2017

Are you thinking of starting your own business or have recently done so? Or maybe you are already running a successful business and you are willing to expand it or would like to get fresh ideas on how to elevate your business to the next level?

The European Exchange Program for Entrepreneurs is for you!

The European business network and financial support can help you exchange knowledge and expand your business.

About the program

Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program aims to provide young entrepreneurs from participating countries with the necessary abilities to run their own business. To do so, the program allows the young entrepreneurs to spend between 6 months and 1 year in another participating country, working side by side with an experienced entrepreneur, who can teach them everything they know about running a business and markets.

The stay is partly financed by the European Commission.

Benefits

If you are a young entrepreneur, you will benefit from the on-the-job training in a small or medium size enterprise in any of the Participating Countries. This stay may ease the successful start of your business or strengthen your new enterprise. You can also benefit from access to new markets, international cooperation and potential possibilities for collaboration with business partners abroad.

As a host entrepreneur, you can benefit from fresh ideas and new points of view. The new entrepreneur may have knowledge in an area you don’t master, which could complement yours. Most host entrepreneurs find this exchange so gratifying that they decide to host more new entrepreneurs afterwards.

it is a win-to-win collaboration, as both participants can discover new European markets or business partners, and different ways of doing business.

On the longer-term, you will benefit from wide networking opportunities, and, possibly, decide to continue your collaboration, possibly as long-term business partners (e.g. joint ventures, subcontracting activities, contractor-supplier relationships, etc).

Who can participate?

  • New entrepreneurs who are thinking about setting up their own business or have done so within the last three years.
  • Experienced entrepreneurs who run a small or medium-size enterprise in one of the Participating Countries

If you are interested, check the registration guide for young entrepreneurs, and take a look at the programme guide for more information on conditions of participation.
