Eligibility: Open to all product or service submissions based on a new technology or an innovative application of an existing technology built by the submitting company. Applicants must be legally incorporated – or registered – in their country of origin.
Extreme Tech Challenge 2020
The Extreme Tech Challenge (XTC) is a nonprofit devoted to elevating the next generation of entrepreneurs creating new technologies and innovations to benefit humankind.
Inspired by the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the XTC supports and showcases the innovators harnessing the power of technology to address the greatest challenges facing humanity and our planet.
Through its global startup competition, XTC provides top contenders with the potential for global visibility, the ability to raise capital, network with global entities (corporations, VCs, partners), and gain mentorship opportunities they need to pioneer technological breakthroughs and help power a sustainable future.
Solve the world’s most extreme problems
The world faces dire global challenges, including poverty, inequality, and climate change. Technology will play a fundamental role in helping humanity overcome these challenges. And that’s what the Extreme Tech ChallengeSM (XTC) global start-up competition is all about.
The Extreme Tech Challenge discovers and supports new technologies and innovations to solve the world’s most extreme problems. Drawing from the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals, XTC® partners will encourage the world’s most promising entrepreneurs to develop solutions to the greatest challenges facing humankind. The top finalists will pitch to a panel of investors for potential investments.
