SEC2SV Scaleups Call 2017

Startup Europe Comes to Silicon Valley (SEC2SV) brings together the most relevant stakeholders, founders, professionals, and policy-makers from the EU entrepreneurial ecosystem and Silicon Valley in engaging meetings and workshops, forging meaningful long-term relationships.

SEC2SV 2017 maintains the above trend, and goes a step further by taking an intricate look at the EU corporate innovation outpost environment in Silicon Valley. Where are they from? When were they established? How can you partner with them and let them help you succeed?

SEC2SV is looking for the next EU Unicorns interested in expanding to the US

For the third year running, EIT Digital and Mind the Bridge are co-organising Startup Europe comes to Silicon Valley (SEC2SV)—the premier programme for future European startup unicorns to engage with key US industry players. Scaleups can apply until 31 May to receive their entry ticket to Silicon Valley.

Taking place in the San Francisco Bay Area each September, the event provides a unique networking space for breakthrough European companies to explore sales, funding and collaboration opportunities. The two-way exchange provides European businesses with the contacts and insights they need to scale up on the other side of the Atlantic and at the same time keeps Silicon Valley abreast of the increasingly dynamic European startup ecosystem.

Eligibility

Minimum requirements to be considered as a SCALEUP:

• you must have had at least 10 employees 3 years ago
• in the last 3 years, you are growing more than 20% year-over-year in revenue, employees, or user-base

The selection is made by Startup Europe Partnership (SEP) Investors Forum and U.S. investors.

European scaleups can apply until May 31st.
