EuroIA Summit 2018

EuroIA is organised by volunteers all around Europe, with three co-chairs, an active committee and over 35 country ambassadors.

EuroIA is the leading Information Architecture (IA) and User Experience (UX) conference for Europe.

After travelling through Europe for the past 14 years for its 2018 edition EuroIA goes to Dublin, the capital of the Republic of Ireland, for the first time.

EuroIA has travelled through Europe over the years: Brussels, Barcelona, Rome, Berlin, Paris, Prague, Amsterdam and most recently, in Stockholm.

2018 theme: Humanogy

People and technology both share one common trait. Both have memory, capacity and ability to think.

As technology expands and connects the human race into the global digital network, our physical world is quickly merging with a digital world where every action and movement can be tracked, stored and analysed inside a massive digital universe that never sleeps.

What will this convergence mean to man? What will our future hold in this unyielding digital age?

As user experience designers and information architects, we spend much of our time thinking about the relationship between technology and humans from a social, economic, historical, and technological perspective. Furthermore, we continuously strive to enhance the human aspect with groundbreaking technologies.

With organisations and social enterprises finally recognising the value of user experience and information architecture, we have a unique opportunity to make a significant impact. Now is our time.

Join us at EuroIA 2018 as it discusses the symbiosis between humans and technology, and how we can harness it to make a real difference in the world.

Milestones for the community

Having such a long-standing relationship with the Information Architecture and User Experience community, EuroIA has seen and hosted, some of the defining moments in the progression of our industry and the way we work.

Doing so, it embraced topics from user research to testing and analysis, content modelling, creative workshops or skills management.
